Tire and Loading Information Sticker

 Tire and Loading Information Sticker

Tire and loading information stickers indicate the proper tire size, rim size, and tire pressure for your car or truck.. Often times they also contain the VIN number and or a bar code containing the VIN number. Some tire pressure labels can also indicate the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) and gross axle weight ratings (GAWR). If modifications are made to the car, almost all of these parameters may need to be changed. Your vehicles recommended cold inflation pressure refers to optimal tire pressure denoted in pounds per square inch (psi) or kilopascals (kPa). A visual inspection will not always be indicative of your pressure. There is extra pressure in warm tires, so tire pressure should be measured while your tires are cold. You can compensate for this extra pressure, but it won't be as accurate as the cold weather inflation pressure recommended on your placard. The tire and loading information sticker is usually located on the drivers side door jamb, near the VIN label.

Tire and loading information stickers are called several different names like Tire pressure and safety label, Tire Pressure Placard, Tire Pressure sticker, Tire Information sticker, Tire label and a few others too, but they all mean the same thing.  If you need a replacement Tire and Loading Information sticker, we can help.
