If modifications are made to the car, almost all of these parameters may need to be changed. Your vehicles recommended cold inflation pressure refers to optimal tire pressure denoted in pounds per square inch (psi) or kilopascals (kPa). A visual inspection will not always be indicative of your pressure. There is extra pressure in warm tires, so tire pressure should be measured while your tires are cold.
